An Echo of Lost Thoughts

If I had a thought that no one else knew about, can I even say it was real?

Just realized that having one blog or personal website for everything goes against the Single-responsibility and Separation of concerns principles.

However, having multiple blogs and personal websites for different things also goes against the KISS principle.

So which one is better? Right now, I have no idea.

If anyone reading this has some ideas, send me an email. I would be curious to hear your thoughts on it.

I used to like the idea of driving cars with an aftermarket exhaust. In a car with a great sounding engine, aftermarket exhausts helps the engine come alive. It makes for a much more pleasant drive.

However, nowadays I've noticed that it draws the wrong kind of attention. I'm not talking about law enforcement. I'm talking about other drivers who want to race you, or drive aggressively around you, just because you drive a sporty car with an aftermarket exhaust.

I'm not out here to race people. While I may drive my car spiritedly every once in awhile, I'm generally just trying to get somewhere. I'm not trying to street race. So lay off the gas pedal and chill.

Instead of using the Instagram app on my phone, I can login via a web browser instead.

I hardly post to Instagram anyway. I have it installed mainly so I don't miss messages from the wife. Which means, I'm basically using it as a feed reader 95% of the time.

Logging in via a web browser means I can still view messages from the wife, review posts I'm tagged in, browse my curated feed and do all the other good stuff, without actually having the app installed on my phone.

Another benefit is that it also restricts my use of Instagram, to only those times when I can use a browser on a PC.

So yeah. That's an echo of one of today's thoughts. Ditch the Instagram app and login via web browser instead.

I've been itching to create a new blog for awhile now. This totally goes against my idea of “less is more”, but what the hell. I've got an extra account laying around. Might as well make use of it.

As for what to expect from this blog... I'm still working on that.

The current idea is to share atomic thoughts. Atomic in the sense that one blog post centers on just one topic, theme, idea, thought. And that blog post should be short, small, little, atomic.

What kind of thoughts you ask? Well, whatever comes to mind.
